Take a tour of Chicago's Railroad Scene in 1970-71 with veteran railroad writer and photographer, George Hamlin. You'll visit Joliet, Griffith, Pullman Junction, Deval, Rondout, BN's (CBQ) Racetrack and, of course, several locations in downtown Chicago. You will see lots of fallen flag Class I freight action, along with the transition from railroad-operated passenger trains to early Amtrak action before Platinum Mist paint was applied.
